UI Bakery Q3 recap. What’s new?
Over the past quarter, we’ve been hard at work evolving UI Bakery with a smarter, more powerful AI experience, without compromising the strength and reliability of our low-code foundation. We’re excited about the progress we’ve made and proud of what’s now possible in the platform. Let’s take a step back and explore the highlights from the last three months!
Custom AI apps

With Custom App, you can build a fully independent, end-to-end application directly in UI Bakery. Connect it to your database, define business actions, and implement your own logic — all in one place. Thanks to AI-powered assistance, you can quickly create complete, standalone applications without leaving the platform. Read more in the docs.
Hosted database management

We’ve added a smoother experience for managing your internal databases, without ever leaving the platform. You can now handle everything directly from the Database Editor tab:
- Create and delete databases,
- Modify database tables,
- Easily switch between databases using the new selector,
- Access connected databases from your Custom Apps,
- Control access based on data source permissions,
- Keep everything in sync with migrations.
Database management is now faster, more intuitive, and fully integrated into your workflow.
Date localization

We’ve introduced localization for dates, times (down to hours, minutes, and seconds), and numeric formats. You can now also set a global application locale in the app settings — with English selected as the default.
Git Force Pull support
A new option now lets developers run a pull --force from a remote branch directly in UI Bakery. Before proceeding, a confirmation dialog alerts you that any uncommitted local changes will be overwritten, helping prevent accidental data loss.
This feature is especially useful when standard pull or revert actions are blocked due to automatic project model updates or conflicting Git changes, giving you a clear path to get your branch back in sync.
Let us know what you think or what you'd love to see next, and don’t forget to subscribe to the changelog for all the latest.
