UI Bakery Q2 recap. What’s new?

Overall, it’s been a busy few months - we focused on delivering powerful improvements that boost flexibility, customization, and user experience across the board. Here’s a quick look at everything we shipped👇

Custom component 2.0

This quarter, we introduced a major feature: the ability to generate entire React apps using AI - right inside UI Bakery.
Here’s what you can do:

• Inspect and fine-tune the generated code
• Roll back to previous versions when needed
• Create actions and feed them directly into the AI
• Publish your component to use across any of your apps

Whether you’re building a Kanban board, to-do list, fitness tracker, or blog platform - just describe what you want (or upload an image for inspiration), and let AI do the heavy lifting.

SOC compliance

We hit a major milestone by achieving SOC 2 Type I compliance - a big step in our commitment to enterprise-grade security and operational transparency.

And we’re not stopping there. Our SOC 2 Type II audit is already underway, pushing our standards even further.

Modules upgrades & the Embedded App component

Our default theme got a fresh new look with Light Theme 2.0.

• Redesigned core components like Tables, Menus, Tabs, and Tabsets
• Clean, modern heading fonts
• Subtle UI improvements for a smoother, more unified feel

You can now set Light Theme 2.0 as the default one for your apps - it will also apply to all new projects by default.

Workspace menu revamp

We’ve redesigned the workspace menu to make it more intuitive and easier to navigate.

You’ll now find:

• Two clearly separated sections: Apps and Library
• All your applications in the Apps section
• Modules and custom components in the Library
• A handy + button in each section to quickly create new items

Builder update: Resizable left sidebar

The left sidebar in the Builder is now resizable. Whether you’re working with deeply nested components or just want a better overview, you can adjust the width to fit your workflow.

Table sorting: Multi-column mode

Now you can sort by multiple columns using the new Multi-column sorting option. Just check the box and choose how you want to sort.
There are three flexible modes: Always, Shift, and Meta.
Additionally, your previous sorting order is not reset - each new column is simply added to the sort logic.

Filter users by role

We’ve added the option of filtering users by their role on the Users & Permissions page. Now, you can quickly find exactly who you’re looking for. If you have a long list, you can also control the number of users displayed per page.
